Her interest in photography began when she was a teenager while wandering through nature and traveling in different parts of her country. Growing up in Romania, Andra was fascinated by all the traditions and the countryside. Her childhood memories, her grandparents’ s way of life, and the dream imagery are a precious heritage for her.
The artist curiously associates the photographs in her mind triggering different senses. The impact of these visions represents an experience of the past, and present found in similar places. Andra’s work tends to be conceptual, and reflective, and it is often quiet and deeply personal.
